Check Out
So happy to finally checked out of the hotel today. 2 nights and I already missed my own bed, my own bathroom, everything else in my own room. My consolation is 1000 bucks to be the hotel’s mystery guest, auditing on the hotel’s service standard.
Checked-out early and got home at 11.30am. Exhausted but dragged myself to wash the car. 3 days of parking under trees resulted with bird poo and tree sap. Should’ve moved it to the sheltered carpark than leaving it with the valet. The valet was going to make a police report if no one claimed my car by 12pm today. He didn’t know it belongs to me, an in-house guest. Well, I was too tired to react.
Happy to see Charmaine and mom when I got home, though one was engrossed with Taiwanese idol TV series while the other was on the phone engrossed with gossips. Unpacked, car wash, showered and finally knocked out for an hour.
It’s strange for anyone who thought its a luxury to stay in a city hotel – Perfectly tided room, windows that cannot be open, superficial greetings, marble but cold bathroom, food which tasted the same regardless which outlets u tried. Luxury? Strange.
Was still a bit stoned in the evening but I decided to run after dinner and “Huo Yuan Jia” on channel 55. Ran longer than the usual, 5 rounds, took 50mins. Though I reckon each round is 1.5km, I ought to measure it soon. Perhaps some day, I will run in the ultra marathon race.

i love the colour contrast! the pink, yellow and green, great combination.
